Assignment: Use your knowledge of pre-World War II events to write a chronology of the hostilities by the Axis powers. In addition, read or listen to several of the speeches below, as spoken by Allied leaders and others opposed to the Axis powers. Citing the speeches, interpret how these leaders justified their actions in the face of Axis hostility.
